a Poem by Roger Montgomery
Wise men came to find Jesus
In a manger where He once lay
A simple birth for a Saviour
Born on Christmas day.
Maybe He was born another time
Be that as it may
We still acknowledge His birth
And we call it Christmas day.
He grew up to be a sacrifice
We call Him Lord whenever we pray
His kingdom will soon be established
And it will be like a Christmas day.
We will sing and give presents
Because He gave Himself away
And we become more like Him
Because of Christmas day.
So pick a present to give
Let your giving have it’s way
Remember the time God came to earth
And why we call it Christmas day.
