Now Satan was defeated
When Jesus hung on Calvary
He thought he was the winner
But Jesus won the victory.

Everything is not as it seems
Just look around and see
The people who think they are winners
Sometimes go down in defeat.

There are two worlds around us
One is bondage, one is free
There are two worlds
One is blind, the other one sees.

The world of darkness makes fun
Makes light of the spiritually free
They are bound to lose
The other is bound to win, you see.

Darkness tries to envelop us
But this cannot be
When Light comes on the scene
Darkness ceases to be.

The people who sat in great darkness
Have seen a great Light, you see
They have come to the Light
The Truth has made them free.

God shows us two worlds
Day or night, which will it be
Every day we have a choice
Stumble in darkness or be free.

If you walk in the night
Where will you be
You try to look around
But in the dark you can’t see.

What you need is a Light
But how can it be
If you walk in the Light
You won’t stumble, you see.

When Light comes
The darkness has to flee
It finally has to bow
It’s victims can go free.

Every time the sun goes down
It’s not the end, you see
When the sun comes up in the morning
The darkness has to flee.

Darkness covers the earth
Confident it has the victory
But the Light shines in darkness
And the darkness ceases to be.

Darkness covered the earth
The people did not see
Jesus came on the scene
He set His people free.

Through death Jesus defeated death
Now we can be free
Jesus entered into hell
Now He has the keys.

When Light shines in darkness
The darkness has to flee
Darkness covers it’s face
Jesus is the key.

When Light comes into your heart
Darkness has to flee
You won’t have to walk in darkness
Now at last you can see.

Jesus has power over death
Over hell He has the key
If you are in prison
Jesus can set you free.

Don’t shrug this off
Don’t take it lightly
Darkness may be around every night
But the Light always has the victory.

If you are worn down from this life
You are a victim of the night
The world is getting you down
Jesus will make your burdens light.

The secret of going up
Is getting down on your knees
The secret of being saved
Is letting Jesus set you free.

We are not saved because we’re smart
Not because we’re so pretty
We have chosen the Light
We have been set free.

We’re not saved because of talent
Or some great ability
We have our eyes open
Now at last we can see.

It may not be your fault
If you can not see
Only Light can reveal the Truth
Only Jesus has the key.

It’s not a trick
It’s no longer a mystery
If you are in the dark
Jesus is the key.
