Forgotten

God has not forgotten us
It is we who have gone astray
When we feel all forsaken
Maybe we just need to pray.
He is always there waiting
Does He seem far away
He has not moved
At least, that's what they say.
He has great patience
As we play and play
When we get down to business
He will be there on that day.
What is the world coming to
What does the Bible say
The feet of Jesus is the answer
Then He will have His say.
Whose words will be important
Whose words would you say
Yours or Jesus Christ's
