Frame of Mind

Jesus came the first time as a Lamb
The next time He’ll come as a Lion
He plays many parts and sometimes
He’s in a different frame of mind.
He once sang with His disciples
He once sat on a hill crying
But the next time He comes to earth
He’ll be in a different frame of mind.
He hung on a cross bleeding
He rose the third day as a sign
But the next time, He will be shouting
He’ll be in a different frame of mind.
Go and chase a sheep
You can do it every time
Try the same thing with a lion
And you’ll be in a different frame of mind.
People walking along unconcerned
They just don’t take the time
But when time blends into eternity
They’ll be in a different frame of mind.
We don’t have time to visit
Someone else’s responsibility, not mine
But when the dirt falls on the casket
We’re in a different frame of mind.
Jesus came as a Savior
To not accept Him is a crime
Today’s Savior will be your judge
And in a different frame of mind.
Jesus died in pain for our sins
Paying for your sins and mine
God turned His face away
But today He’s in a different frame of mind.
Now
God has turned everything over to Jesus
He has given Him to all mankind
God’s judgement was once put on Jesus
But now He’s in a different frame of mind.
God is now offering you mercy
But only in your lifetime
The door to grace and mercy will one day close
Then He’ll be in a different frame of mind.
Some times you’re in one mood
Sometimes you’re thoughtful and kind
Sometimes you’re in a different mood
In a different frame of mind.
Everybody knows as a kid
You wait for just the right time
When you want something from a parent
You catch them in the right frame of mind.
That’s the way life is
In the dark you’re the same as blind
But in the day and in the Light
You’re in a different frame of mind.
Jesus Christ will hear your prayers
There’s not even a waiting line
He’s just waiting for you to believe
And He’ll give you peace of mind.
Do you know where you’re going?
Where will you be a hundred years in time?
Jesus Christ knows your name
He will put you in the right frame of mind.
What kind of choice have you made?
Are you through or are you still trying?
When will God take away the choice?
When will He be in a different frame of mind?
Your choices are only at God’s discretion
He can remove them anytime
Thank Him for the day of grace
While He’s in a forgiving frame of mind.
Some people have never had the choice
Born into a world so spiritually blind
No one has ever shown them the Light
No chance to have the right frame of mind.
Jesus came as a prophet to all Israel
He’s a King and a priest now for all mankind
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, and Lord
Now that’s a Godly frame of mind.
Some people are trying to catch up
Some have caught on in time
Some have decided to make things right
While God’s in the right frame of mind.
You are now framing your opinion
Set in stone for all of time
Make your opinion agree with God
While He’s in a merciful frame of mind.
Heaven waits for the ones who accept Jesus
Hell waits for the rest of mankind
Meet God while He’s a God of mercy
Not in a different frame of mind.
God loves to give us choices
You make yours, I’ve made mine
One day the final choice will be made
Framed for eternity in your mind.
