God's Best To You

Down through the ages it's been told
Is God 's message getting through
If you haven't heard it before today
God sends His best to you.
God doesn’t do things second rate
He doesn't think you should too
He's not just putting on a show
He sends His best to you.
God has tried to show His love
His love has always been true
He came down to take you up
Jesus did His best for you.
Talk is cheap and not worth much
But hope will see you through
Go out and spread the word
God gave His best for you.
God didn't send you an angel
Nothing but the best would do
He sent down His only Son
When He gave His best for you.
God sent His best and not the rest
What else would you expect Him to do
Why not give Him your very best
He gave His best for you.
How much do you value life
Your value is realized by so very few
God made you in His own image
That was the best He could do.
Do not turn away from God
Let Him make your life brand new
Let Him turn your world around
He sends His best to you.
God didn’t send you silver and gold
Nothing but the best would do
Have you received the gift that He sent
He sent His best to you.
He wasn’t putting on a show
With all the bows and pretty ribbons too
He made it as plain as it could be
He sent His best to you.
I hope that God has made it plain
That’s what He was trying to do
Heaven knows that God is love
And He sent all that love to you.
This is the best gift that you could receive
One that's priceless and ageless too
God wrapped His Son in swaddling clothes
And He sent His best to you.
