I Need
A Blessing

Lord, I need some blessings
I said as I knelt to pray
If I don’t receive a blessing
I may not make it through the day.
Lord, send me some directions
That’s what I need today
Lord, I really need a blessing
And then I heard Jesus say.
I gave you more than you received
I heard you when you prayed
I sent you so many blessings
But you let them slip away.
Now you reap what you have sown
That’s always been the way
You must bless to be blessed
Haven’t you been blessed today?
Well, I don’t have to ask for blessings
Each time I kneel to pray
They’re about to run outa my ears
Since I started giving them away.
