Are you tired of struggling
Being defeated on every hand
Tired of running into a brick wall
And doing it over time and again.
Well, Jesus has gone on before you
He once walked across this earth's great land
He knows what you are going through
And He's the One who can understand.
He will reach down from heaven in grace
And take you by your lifeless hand
He will reach down to lift you up
And help you learn how to stand.
He will give you the royal treatment
The whole world is in His hand
By His death He gives you life
By His strength He helps you stand.
Jesus will reach down from heaven
Don't you think that is just grand
Don't rely on your strength or yourself
Jesus will help you if you want to stand.
The strong are to support the weak
So Jesus will do it over time and again
And when you think you can't make it yourself
Know this for certain, Jesus can help you stand.

When you feel like you are going under
Reach up and take Jesus by the hand.
Jesus will reach down from heaven
You are a part of His divine plan

And give you His strength so you can stand.
