That's Not Right
by Roger Montgomery

I was right
Now I'm left
That's not right
I'm by myself.

Is that right
I'm by myself
I'm not right
Because I am left.

Here am I
All by myself
I'm half-tight
Because I am left.

The evidence is in
Examine it yourself
How can I be right
When I am left.

But that's alright
I'm not myself
I'm still on top
Of what is left.

We can't make it right
See for yourself
You can't be right
When you are left.

I've decided not
To be the one that's left
I'm outa sight
I'm beside myself.

The shrink said so
He said so himself
All my money is gone
There's nothing left.

He said I'm not right
I'm beside myself
He explained everything
The right has left.

He said it's not right
For me to be left by myself
I asked, "Is that right"
He said, "The only answer left".

I went to see him
Not feeling myself
He made me feel all right
And not feeling left.

He made me feel OK
About myself
He made me feel right
So I can't be left.

I'm going along
Keep it to yourself
I've got to get right
So I can't be left.

If you can't see me
I'm beside myself
The person I used to be
Has now left.

So, everything is OK
See for yourself
When everything is gone
That's what's left.

I said I’m broke
See for yourself
He walked out
Now I’m left.

So you have to be right
When you're beside yourself
That's the right answer
When all else has left.
