He didn’t have anything to do
So she gave him some good advice
As she walked away, she said
Come on man, get a life.
Sometimes words can help us
Sometimes they cut like a knife
Are you living or are you dying
Think about it twice
And get a life.
While you’re planning for your future
Make a checkup of your past
If your future looks no better
Then change it while you can.
What is your destination
Are you just rolling dice
What’s your chance of winning
Is life passing you by?
When it is finally over
Will you want to live it twice
You only go through this life once
So take some good advice
And get a life.
There is so much to do
Wouldn’t it be so nice
If you lived a little
Before your time to die.
If you need some help living
Let Jesus bear your strife
