He wasn't born high class
He didn't look special or anything
Though He was an heir to a throne
Jesus didn't look like a king.
He looked more like a fisherman
Maybe a carpenter was His thing
He could have passed for a shepherd boy
But Jesus didn't look like a king.
He would gain many followers
Over millions He would reign
He was rejected by His people
Because He didn't act like a king.
He didn't live in a fancy castle
He didn't wear any fancy ring
He served others instead of being served
And He didn't act like a king.

When you bow down before Him
And give account for everything
And realize your future’s in His hands
Will He look more like a king?
What kind of king would you like
Who would you have to reign
Someone who loves you like Jesus did
Or someone who acts like a king?
