He was once on the cross, but now He's on the throne
When I once faced judgment and was all on my own
God offered me grace and Jesus is on the throne.
The past has been forgotten, now it's all dead and gone
Jesus paid the penalty, He did it on His own
The devil may rant and rave, but I am not alone

You may feel God doesn't love you
You don't feel like one of His own
God spared no expense, not even His own Son
All things are now ready, the news is out to everyone

It will be preached after we are gone
The Bible says, Let him who is thirsty come and drink
Of the water of life given freely
And God is offering us grace and you know we can't do it on our own
So just remember this one thing, that the Lord Jesus is on the throne.
People may not like me, but I will live on and on
I'll lift my eyes to heaven and when you see me gone
Just say He's in heaven, but not for what He's done
