Light

Far away I see a Light
Even in the darkest night
Far away I see its gleam
Though I can’t see what’s between
If I follow faithfully
And keep my steps just right
I'll be moving every day
A little closer to the Light.
There's a Light, There's a Light
Shining down from heaven just in sight
And I know it won't be long
Till my Savior calls me home
So I'm going to keep on walking
I'm going to keep on moving
Pressing toward the mark for the prize
That I'll receive when I finally reach the Light.
I have read in the Bible
Of how Jesus is the Light
How He paid the debt for sinners
He gave away His life
I don't worry about tomorrow
For my soul is in His hands
I'll just follow the Light
Until I reach that promised land.
