You'll
Pay
by Roger Montgomery
You’ve taken the prayers out of the schools
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ve made them live by man-made rules
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ve taken the kids, you’ve taken the land
You’ve taken the Bible, so that they don’t understand
And what you’ve lost, you’ll never have again
You’ll pay for what you've done.
You’ve taken the women and made them men
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ve given up God for a life of sin
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ve closed their mouths so they can’t shout
You’ve given them something to worry about
No wonder they live a life of doubt
You’ll pay for what you've done.
You’ve taken the free and made them bound
You’ll pay for what you've done
Your little playhouse is falling down
You’ll pay for what you've done
When Heaven is come and you can’t get in
Because you’re weighted down by a life of sin
And you don’t have a chance to live again
You’ll pay for what you've done.
You’ve got your fun, you’ve got your games
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ve forgotten Jesus and why He came
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ve given up God for your own name
You’ve forgotten Jesus and it’s a shame
But it won’t be long before He’ll come again
And you’ll pay for what you've done.
There’s rebellion in the homes
You’ll pay for what you've done
The Bible says that that’s all wrong
You’ll pay for what you've done
When you search and there ain’t no rest
In this land that God once blessed
And there’s no way out of this man-made mess
You’ll pay for what you've done.
God has spoken, it’s all in His Word
You’ll pay for what you've done
God called for you, but who has heard?
You’ll pay for what you've done
God sent His prophets time and again
But you've always gone back to a life of sin
And the gates are closing on this world of sin
You’ll pay for what you've done.
The highways are going everywhere
You’ll pay for what you've done
But like ants, you won’t escape the fire
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ll find out there’s no escape
In this man-made system you’ve tried to make
But for most it will be too late
You’ll pay for what you've done.
Get in your car and drive for hours
You’ll pay for what you've done
You’ve gotten nowhere but you’ve gone many miles
You’ll pay for what you've done
When you’ve run out of places you can run
And you think of all the things that you could have done
And now you’ve got a thing to learn
You’ll pay for what you've done.
Friends, listen to me to what I say
You’ll pay for what you've done
God says He’s provided you a Way
That’s why He sent His Son.
Come to Jesus this very day
And let His blood wash your sins away
Let Jesus guide you through the coming storm
He’s paid for what you've done.
He’s paid for what you've done.
He’s paid for what you've done.
