To whom it may concern
This is to verify that Roger Montgomery should be excused from work for a few days
because, after extensive diagnosis, I have come to the conclusion that he may be suffering
from an acute case of troutabitis. As of
this date, very little is known about this malady.
Extreme care should be shown above patient for the next few days until symptoms wear off. Symptoms may include a complete lack of interest
in work and even antagonism toward it. Patient
may become grouchy and irritable and may not respond to motivational talks. His mind may also wander off and on at times.
The only known cure at this time is to get plenty of rest and take in as much fishing as
possible.
While this condition may become serious if not treated, it usually disappears after a few
days fishing, especially if patient has luck.
If patient has success from this treatment, please contact me at once so I can observe
patient and recommend further treatment. Please
